“SLING THING” AR-15 FRONT AND REAR SLING ATTACHMENTS
It’s generally accepted that tactical slings should be mounted on the side of the weapon. GG&G manufactures Front and Rear “Sling Thing” Sling Attachments that provide standard 1 1/4-inch sling swivels in this preferred sling mounting position.

AR-15 FRONT “SLING THING” SLING ATTACHMENT SPECIFICATIONS:
A lightweight and versatile way of attaching a sling to an AR-15/M16 front sight.
Ambidextrous.
Robust and rigid.
Easily installs onto the AR15/M16’s “A-frame” front sight assembly.
Held in place by counter pressure steel socket head cap screws.
MIL-STD-1913 rail can be purchased separately and can substitute for the non-sling swivel side.
Manufactured using a Mil-Spec, rubber coated 1 ¼“sling swivel.
All edges have been rounded and softened to protect the shooter.
Material: 6061-T6 solid aluminum alloy.
Finish: Type III hard coat anodized in a non-reflective matte black finish per Mil-Spec.
Weight: 1.1 oz.
